The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics subjects on the material of opportunities for mutually exclusive events with waste media through the application of the Quantum Teaching Realistic (QTR) learning model. The subjects in the study were students of class XII IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Pringgasela Semester 2 for the academic year 2020/2021 totaling 30 people. The object of research is learning outcomes. Data on student learning outcomes in Mathematics were collected using tests. The data were analyzed using a qualitative description technique. The research is said to be successful if it meets the following criteria: (1) the average value of the final test of Mathematics learning material for the probability of passing each other is a minimum of KKM = 75, and (2) classical completeness is at least 80%. The results of data analysis showed an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the QTR learning model. In the first cycle the average value obtained by students was 69.33 with a learning completeness of 60%, while in the second cycle there was a significant increase with an average student score of 84.00 and a minimum learning mastery of 83.33%. So it can be concluded that the application of the QTR learning model with waste media on the material has the opportunity to succeed and get satisfactory results. In addition, with this implementation, in addition to increasing student learning outcomes, it turns out that student activity and motivation to learn has also increased.
