Abstract

Guided inquiry is one of the inquiry learning models which is a discovery learning model on material concepts which is carried out by means of discussion. Students are given several questions and find their own problems with the guidance of the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of physics learning outcomes with the application of the Guided Inquiry learning model in class X RPL 1. This type of research was classroom action research (CAR). The place of research is at SMK Negeri 1 Negara. The time of the research was carried out in January 2022. The subjects of this study were students of class X RPL 1 SMK Negeri 1 Negara for the academic year 2021/2022, totaling 37 students. The object of the research is the application of the guided inquiry learning model and the students' physics learning outcomes. This research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: action planning, action implementation, observation/ evaluation, and reflection. This research uses test, observation and documentation methods. The results showed that the application of the guided inquiry learning model could improve the physical learning outcomes of class X RPL 1 SMK Negeri 1 Negara students in the 2021/2022 academic year.
