Abstract

. Literacy is closely related to learning whether obstained from reading, writing or oral information. The culture of a nation goes hand in hand with its literacy culture, cultural and civilizational factors. The culture, customs and natural wealth of nation as local wisdom have the potential to be develeoped through literacy culture as an ethnopedagogical approach. Ethnopedagogy is the cultivation of local wisdom values of a nation or region that need to be preserved and developed for the advancement of civilitation. It is hosped that the implementation of local wisdom in biology learning will be able to instill character education to create Pancasila students.
