Abstract

BIPA program aims to help foreign speakers learn and master Indonesian, whether for academic, professional or daily communication purposes. It cannot be denied that the existence of the Indonesian language is very large abroad. The BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) learning program is an Indonesian language skills learning program which includes speaking, writing, reading and listening for foreign students. Ethno Pedagogy is a learning approach that integrates learning and local wisdom, including in the teaching of the BIPA program. This research aims to analyze techniques for teaching Indonesian for foreign speakers (BIPA) based on Ethnopedagogy at the BEC. Canggu Course and Training Institute (LKP) in 2023. From data obtained through observation and interview methods with 2 instructors who teach BIPA obtained some techniques in teaching, namely (1) role-play, (2) direct reading, (3) finding differences and (4) describing pictures.. In its application, the instructors always connect it with local wisdom in Bali.
