PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL TRI HITA KARANA DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract

The situation and condition of the nation's character which is currently experiencing a decline has encouraged the government to take steps to prioritize building the nation's character through the Strengthening Character Education (PPK) program. One effort to strengthen character can be done by implementing local wisdom into learning, especially into biology learning. Biology learning is closely related to scientific facts, concrete natural phenomena and aims to develop students' competencies so they can understand their environment well. Tri Hita Karana local wisdom, which in principle is to maintain a harmonious relationship between humans and Almighty God, with each other, and with the environment (surrounding nature), contains exemplary values and wisdom that can reflect ecological wisdom, and this is part of efforts to form and develop students' character values.
