Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sources and types of education financing in Indonesia through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using the PRISMA approach. Data were collected by reviewing 10 national journal articles published between 2013 and 2025. The findings indicate that education financing in Indonesia is sourced from the government, the community, parents of students, and the private sector through various funding schemes. The types of financing include operational costs, investment costs, and personal costs. The education financing cycle involves planning, management, implementation, accounting, and evaluation. This study highlights the importance of transparent and accountable financial governance to ensure the sustainability of education quality. The results of this SLR are expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and education practitioners in formulating effective and efficient education financing policies.
