Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of Entrepreneurship Creative Products (PKK) on the subject of business opportunities through the application of Problem Based Instruction. This research is a class action research conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle includes 4 stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The factors studied were student learning outcomes (cognitive, affective, psychomotor). Cognitive learning outcomes data are taken from test scores at the end of each cycle, affective and psychomotor obtained from observation sheets. From the students' cognitive learning outcomes before the action (pretest), the average test score was 65.2 with classical completeness of 57.5%. In cycle I, the average test score was 69.3 with 70% classical completeness. In cycle II, the average test score was 76.4 with 87.5% classical completeness. Affective learning outcomes in cycle I, the average student score was 75.43 with 95% classical learning completeness. In cycle II, the average student score was 77.66 with 100% classical learning completeness. Psychomotor learning outcomes in cycle I, the average score was 72.9 with 70% classical learning completeness. In cycle II, the average value was 77.7 with a classical learning completeness of 77.5%, so it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Instruction on the subject of business opportunities can improve the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMKN 1 Batulayar in the 2020/2021 academic year.
