Parents' Perceptions of Online Learning During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

This study has the aim of knowing the perceptions of parents based on the dimensions of assessors, situations, and targets for courageous learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This type of research is descriptive research through the use of a quantitative approach to describe the perceptions of parents in brave learning during this pandemic. The population in this study were parents whose children had education at the elementary, junior high, high school and university levels who lived in Sinabun Village. And a sample of 114 people was obtained through the use of the Slovin formula. The method used when collecting data is through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The technique in analyzing the data is by using descriptive. The questionnaire was tested through validity and reliability tests on SPSS 24.0 for Windows. The results of this study read the perceptions of parents in terms of the dimensions of the assessment included in the category of agree. Parents' perceptions of the dimensions can be categorized as agree. Perceptions of parents in terms of the agreed target dimensions.
