Dampak Pola Tidur terhadap Daya Tahan Fisik Atlet

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui antara polatidur dan daya tahan fisik atlet. Kurang tidur dapat terjadi penurunan daya tahan fisik dan peforma pada atlet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah systematic review dengan strategi penelusuran artikel melalui database PubMed dengan kata kunci “Sleep Pattern and Endurance” yang sesuai dengan metode PRISMA. Kriteria yang dipakai berbahasa inggris yang diterbitkan dalam lima tahun terakhir (2020-2024) dan dapat di akses secara gratis. Ditemukan 300 artikel, pembatasan pencarian untuk 5 tahun terakhir ditemukan 156, ditambah dengan pembatasan artikel ditemukan sebanyak 100 artikel, kemudian dilakukakan pembatasan kembali dalam tema Sleep Pattern and Endurance ditemukan sebanyak 28. Kecocokan abstrak dengan tema ditemukan sebanyak 28 artikel yang relevan dan dianalisis menggunakan Mendeley reference. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidur yang cukup dan berkualitas dapat meningkatkan daya tahan fisik, membantu memulihkan tubuh, serta menjaga performa atlet baik saat latihan maupun saat kompetisi. Sebaliknya, jika kekurangan tidur, dapat menyebabkan kelelahan berlebih, memicu gangguan mental, serta meningkatkan resiko terserang penyakit kardiovaskular. Dengan demikian, melakukan latihan fisik dengan teratur, dan menjaga pola tidur dengan baik menjadi faktor kunci dalam menjaga performa atlet.
