Studi Etnografi : Analisis Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) Masyarakat dalam Partisipasi Mengikuti Trampoline Dance Fitness

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dalam partisipasi masyarakat mengikuti Trampoline Dance Fitness melalui pendekatan etnografi. FoMO merupakan kondisi psikologis ketika individu merasa cemas atau takut tertinggal dari pengalaman sosial yang dianggap penting oleh orang lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang telah divalidasi dan terbukti reliabel kepada 120 responden wanita yang mengikuti kegiatan Trampoline Dance Fitness, baik melalui klub kebugaran maupun saat pelaksanaan Car Free Day. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat dalam Trampoline Dance Fitness yang dikaitkan dengan fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) secara umum berada pada kategori cukup, berdasarkan rata-rata nilai dari keseluruhan 30 item pernyataan yang dianalisis. Ditinjau dari masing-masing aspek, social exclusion anxiety, peer influence, fitness participation motivation, dan self-presentation and validation masing-masing berada dalam kategori cukup, dengan rata-rata nilai antara 3,22 hingga 3,27. Sementara itu, aspek social media engagement dan participation behavior termasuk dalam kategori baik, dengan rata-rata masing-masing sebesar 3,563 dan 3,405. Secara keseluruhan FoMO Masyarakat dalam Partisipasi Mengikuti Trampoline Dance Fitness memiliki 30 item pernyataan dan diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 4,9195 yang termasuk ke dalam kategori cukup. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa ketergantungan terhadap media sosial dan keterlibatan aktif dalam aktivitas turut memperkuat kecenderungan FoMO, meskipun beberapa aspek psikososial lainnya menunjukkan pengaruh yang sedang. Dengan demikian, partisipasi masyarakat dalam Trampoline Dance Fitness tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh motivasi fisik, tetapi juga oleh dinamika sosial yang kompleks.
