Excessive use of social media has the potential to have a negative impact on mental health. This study aims to determine the relationship between social media use and mental health of SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar students. The research method used was a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. The sample in this study consisted of 150 students of class XI who were selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire regarding the use of social media and mental health that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. The results showed that there was a significant and very strong relationship between the intensity of social media use and the mental health condition of 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar. The variable of social media use contributed 79% to students' mental health, and the remaining 21% was influenced by other factors. Therefore, it can be concluded that social media has a close relationship with the mental health of high school students. This study is a Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) aimed at improving the career planning of 12th-grade students in the Culinary 1 class at SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati, Gianyar, in the 2024/2025 academic year through the implementation of group counseling services using discussion techniques. The subjects of this study consisted of nine students selected based on the results of an initial observation, which indicated that their career planning scores fell within the low category. The research procedure was conducted over two cycles, each comprising the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. After the first cycle of intervention, most students demonstrated improvement, with score percentages increasing from 56% to 72%, which fall into the moderate to high category. However, as some students still showed suboptimal results, a second cycle of intervention was carried out. In the second cycle, results showed a significant increase, with the average score reaching 82%, categorized as high to very high. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode penelitian tindakan bimbingan dan konseling (PTBK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua tahapan siklus. Sebanyak 22 siswi terlibat sebagai partisipan, dengan lima di antaranya dijadikan subjek utama karena menunjukkan tingkat pemahaman karier yang masih rendah. Pada siklus pertama, rata-rata pemahaman karier meningkat dari 54,8% menjadi 68,2%, menunjukkan perkembangan sebesar 24,658%. Karena belum mencapai target optimal, intervensi dilanjutkan ke siklus kedua yang menghasilkan kenaikan sebesar 28,896%, dengan rata-rata akhir sebesar 87,6%, tergolong dalam kategori tinggi. The issue addressed is the low level of career readiness, indicated by students’ confusion in choosing a career path, lack of information about the world of work and further education, and low confidence in planning their future. This is a Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) involving 35 students (14 males and 21 females). Initial observations showed an average career readiness score of 50% (moderately high category). After the first cycle of intervention, the score increased to 54%, although two students were still in the low category. A second cycle was conducted, resulting in an increased average score of 61% (high category). A more in-depth approach is crucially needed, for instance understanding students' emotional intelligence which help understand the extent to which emotional intelligence contributes to the formation of student discipline, as a basis for developing appropriate intervention strategies. This study aimed to analyse the correlation between emotional intelligence and disciplinary behavior of class XI students of SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati. The method was a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population of this study consisted of 312 students. The sample involved 175 grade XI students who were determined by proportion random sampling. The data collection was obtained from instruments in the form of emotional intelligence scales and disciplinary behavior that have been categorized as valid and reliable instruments. The data analysis technique was the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique assisted by IBM SPSS version 23.0. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the emotional intelligence variable and the disciplinary behavior variable of class XI students of SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati. Emotional intelligence contributes 50.69% to students' disciplinary behavior, while the remaining 49.31% is contributed by other variables. This guidance and counseling action research aimed to improve the self-confidence of students in Class X PH 5 at SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed Guidance and Counseling Action Research. The study was conducted through the implementation of group counseling using the problem-solving technique and was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation. The subjects of the research were five students from Class X PH 5 at SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati who were identified as having low self-confidence. The instrument was a self-confidence attitude questionnaire consisting of 20 validated and reliable statement items. The results indicated an increase in self-confidence by 65% after the implementation of counseling in the first cycle. In the second cycle, self-confidence increased by 76%. Students with high levels of self-confidence are generally more active in classroom participation, more willing to express their opinions, and better prepared to face academic and social challenges. However, a number of students still exhibit low self-confidence, as observed in SMA Negeri 1 Mengwi. This condition negatively impacts their ability to speak in public, share ideas in discussions, and fully develop their potential. Such problems require structured and effective interventions within the educational context. This study aims to improve students' self-confidence through the application of group guidance utilizing the discussion technique. The research employed the Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) method conducted over two cycles involving ten students from class XI Bahasa 1 who were identified as having low self-confidence. The results demonstrated a significant increase in self-confidence, from an initial score of 54.2% to 77.1% after two cycles of intervention. This improvement was reflected across five key aspects of self-confidence: self-belief, optimism, objectivity, responsibility, and rationality. The problem of friendship conflict is also experienced by students at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar. BK teachers have conducted counseling but have not yet obtained optimal results. This study aims to determine how effective mediation services are to overcome student friendship conflicts. The study was Guidance Counseling Action Research (PTBK) with two cycles. The subjects of this study were 11 students who had friendship conflict problems with a total of 4 cases. The object of this research is the effectiveness of mediation services in overcoming friendship conflicts at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar. The instruments were friendship conflict questionnaires and observation guidelines for the implementation of mediation services. The analysis technique was quantitative analysis. The results showed that the action in cycle I obtained an average percentage of 70.45% in the effective category and in cycle II there was an increase in percentage to 81% in the effective category. These results conclude that the implementation of mediation services effectively overcomes teenage friendship conflicts at the senior high school level. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek yang terlibat meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala bidang kesiswaan, koordinator BK, guru BK, serta wali kelas. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diperkuat dengan triangulasi, perpanjangan waktu observasi, serta peningkatan ketekunan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan BK di SD Negeri 1 Denbantas telah memiliki perencanaan yang sistematis dan terencana. Model yang digunakan adalah pola 17+ yang diselaraskan dengan kurikulum sekolah. Pelaksanaan layanan BK telah sesuai dengan komponen layanan inti dan kegiatan pendukung yang terdapat dalam pola 17+. Evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan instrumen LAISEG, LAIJAPEN, dan LAIJAPAN. Hambatan utama dalam pelaksanaan layanan BK di sekolah ini meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan kurangnya komitmen dari pihak orang tua. Perilaku siswa yang tidak menghormati dan menghargai guru dapat berdampak negatif terhadap proses pembelajaran dan pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perilaku sopan santun siswa terhadap guru melalui layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik modeling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan bimbingan dan konseling (PTBK) dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods), yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA PGRI 4 Denpasar tahun ajaran 2025/2026 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru wali kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan skala penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan perilaku sopan santun siswa terhadap guru. Rata-rata skor pada siklus I mencapa 36 dan peningkatan skor pada siklus II menjadi 83, dengan pencapaian persentase sebesar 44,93%, dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 37,72%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik modeling efektif dalam meningkatkan perilaku sopan santun siswa terhadap guru. The subjects of this study were Class X TKR SMK PGRI 1 Denpasar in the 2024/2025 Academic Year, totaling 32 students. The object of this study is to improve insight into major selection of SMK PGRI 1 Denpasar students through classical guidance using problem based learning techniques. Data from post-test scores in Cycle I and Cycle II showed that in Cycle I, 2 students had a high level of understanding in the major selection process, 12 students had a moderately high level, and 17 students had a low level of understanding. However, in Cycle II, there was an increase in students' understanding of the major selection process: out of 32 students, only 1 student had a low level of understanding, and 19 other students had a moderately high level of understanding.
