Implementation of Classical Guidance with Problem-Based Learning to Improve Major Selection Insights in Grade X TKR PGRI 1 Denpasar Vocational School

The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the implementation of Classical Guidance Services with Problem Based Learning techniques to improve insight into major selection in Class X TKR SMK PGRI 1 Denpasar while the type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of three meetings, two meetings for material presentation and one meeting for the application of classical guidance to improve insight into student major selection. The subjects of this study were Class X TKR SMK PGRI 1 Denpasar in the 2024/2025 Academic Year, totaling 32 students. The object of this study is to improve insight into major selection of SMK PGRI 1 Denpasar students through classical guidance using problem based learning techniques. Data from post-test scores in Cycle I and Cycle II showed that in Cycle I, 2 students had a high level of understanding in the major selection process, 12 students had a moderately high level, and 17 students had a low level of understanding. However, in Cycle II, there was an increase in students' understanding of the major selection process: out of 32 students, only 1 student had a low level of understanding, and 19 other students had a moderately high level of understanding. Meanwhile, 12 students had a high level of understanding in the major selection process
