Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase students' low learning motivation through group guidance services with group discussion techniques in class X AKL SMK Wira Bhakti Denpasar. This improvement goal means that the application of group guidance using discussion techniques can increase learning motivation in class X students of SMK Wira Bhakti Denpasar for the 2023/2024 academic year. The students to be researched are class X AKL SMK Wira Bhakti Denpasar as the target of the researcher totaling 20 students, 3 of whom have a weak motivation to learn. This research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of 4 activities, namely action design, action implementation, observation/evaluation and reflection. The results of the study showed that the average learning motivation in class X AKL students increased, the average after being given actions in the first cycle was 70 and in the second cycle was 78. The percentage of increase in learning motivation in class X students of AKL achieved through the application of discussion techniques in the first cycle was an average of 15.31% and the second cycle averaged 21.52%. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of group guidance with discussion techniques can increase student learning motivation in class X AKL SMK Wira Bhakti Denpasar for the 2023/2024 school year.
