Abstract

This research is an action research approach to counseling guidance (PTBK) which aims to increase the learning motivation of class X Accounting (II) SMK PGRI 2 Denpasar in the 2022/2023 academic year. The target of this improvement is class X Accounting (II) SMK PGRI 2 Denpasar in the 2022/2023 Academic Year of 33 students there are 6 students who have low learning motivation with 2 male categories and 4 female students. Based on the results obtained in cycle I that the average initial data on student learning motivation was 47.7% after being given action in cycle I it increased by 67.5% with an average increase as a group to 67.5% in the low category . Furthermore, in cycle II there was an increase of 22.53% with an average increase as a group to 82.7% in the high category. Based on the actions that have been taken and it is known that the increase has occurred, it can be concluded that the application of group guidance with discussion techniques can increase the learning motivation of class X Accounting (II) SMK PGRI 2 Denpasar in the 2022/2023 Academic Year
