PENGARUH TEKNIK PENGUATAN POSITIF DALAM KONSELING BEHAVIORAL TERHADAP DISIPLIN SISWA KELAS X SK SMK NEGERI 5 DENPASAR TAHUN PELAJARAN 2020/2021

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is a positive reinforcement effect in behavioral counseling on the learning discipline of class X SK SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar in the 2020/2021 academic year, where this research is expost facto or non-experimental, because it does not manipulate the symptoms studied and  the symptoms are already present naturally in the field.  In determining the number of samples using a sampling technique, namely: Purposive Sampling, which is a way of taking samples by setting specific characteristics that are in accordance with the research objectives so that they are expected to answer research problems.  In determining the number of samples from a population of 91 people using the table for determining the number of samples from ISAAC and MICHAEL from a certain population with an error rate of 10% with a total sample of 68 people.  In collecting data using a Positive Reinforcement questionnaire to obtain data on Positive Reinforcement in Behavioral Counseling, and a Learning Discipline questionnaire to obtain data on student Learning Disciplines and record documents to obtain data on the number of Class X students of SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar in the 2020/2021 academic year.  This research is a statistical analysis with the Product Moment formula.  From the data analysis using a significant level of 5% and n = 68, the limit number for the rejection of the null hypothesis obtained in the table of Product Moment values ​​is 0.244.  When compared to the number of results obtained from the study, it was 0.435.  While the contribution of positive reinforcement to learning discipline is 18%, while the other 82% is contributed by other factors.  Thus it can be concluded, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected which reads that “there is no significant effect between positive reinforcement on the Learning Discipline of class X SK SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar in the 2020/2021 academic year.  So that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which reads that “there is a Significant Effect between Positive Reinforcement on Learning Discipline in Class X SK SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar in the 2020/2021 Academic Year
