The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a positive relationship between parenting and self-confidence among students of SMA Negeri 1 Mengwi in 2021. The hypothesis is, there is a positive relationship between parenting and self-confidence among students of SMA Negeri 1 Mengwi. 2021. The sample of this study includes students of SMA Negeri 1 Mengwi in 2021. Based on the results of data processing with a significance level of 5% and N = 300, the value of the null hypothesis rejection limit obtained in the table of product moment values is 0.113. When compared with the research results of 0.513, the value of the research results is above or greater than r table, than the proposed null hypothesis is rejected so that this study can be said to be significant. It can be conclude that there is a positive relationship between parenting and self-confidence among student of SMA Negeri 1 Mengwi in 2021. Based on the above result, it is hoped that parents and teachers should always pay the attention to parenting and student can increase their self convidence, and the student develop optimally.
