Abstract

This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted at SMK Werdhi Sila Kumara involving all grade XI PH 2 students totaling 40 students consisting of 20 male students and 20 female students. Research is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consists of three meetings in which it consists of action planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study are known from the average student learning activity increased in the first cycle to 51.5% in the category of quite active. In the second cycle, the average student activity increased to 67.5% in the active category. Likewise, student learning outcomes have increased, initial reflection on the average student learning outcomes of 58.50, absorption of 58.50%, classical completeness of 17.5, so that actions were taken in the first cycle of average student learning outcomes of 70.05, absorption of 70.05% and classical completeness of 45.0%. In the second cycle stage, there was an increase with an average of 80.25, 80.25% absorption and achievement of Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 40 students (100%) were able to achieve KKM. Based on the results of research on early reflection, cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that the application of the Group Investigation (GI)  type Cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes in grade XI PH 2 students of SMK Werdhi Sila Kumara for the 2022/2023 academic year.
